What time does the airport open?
The airport terminal building is open 24 hours. For
ticket counter hours, please check with the individual airline or rentalcar agency. Hours of operation for food and retail concessions are not
available on this website. Additionally, the airport information desk
may be able to provide times for specific airport shops and restaurants.
How long before my flight should I arrive at the airport?
One and one half to two hours prior to departure is suggested, however,
these times may vary during peak travel times. It is advised to check
with your individual carrier.
What do I do if I need help with my luggage?
An airline agent in the baggage service office for the individual
carrier can assist you. If the office is closed, the airport
information desk may provide assistance.
What types of provisions are there for individuals in need of assistance?
Wheelchair assistance is available for travelers. Please
contact your airline or the information desk for information on this
service. All parking lots and garages are handicap accessible and have
designated handicap parking.
Is it still possible to drop off and pick up someone in front of the terminal?
Yes, it is possible, but only for immediate drop off and pick up. If
you need to wait for a longer period of time, it is advised that you
park in Parking Lot – D in front of the terminal.
How do I get to TF Green Airport?
Green Airport is easy to access off Interstate 95 North
and South at Exit 13. It is also accessible via Rt. 295, connecting to
95.

What is the 3-1-1 rule I have been hearing about?
TSA requires any gels or liquids carried through the checkpoint must be
in containers of 3 ounces or less and packed in one quart zip top
bags. They need to be removed from bags and placed in bins for
individual screening. Only one zip-top bag is allowed per passenger
through the security checkpoint. Any additional items should be placed
in checked bags. For more information on what is allowable through

What types of electronic equipment can be carried on to the airplane?
Any type of electronic equipment may be carried onto the plane
(including Ipods, MP3's, PS2's, Laptops, Portable DVD's, etc.). TSA
requires that laptops are removed from carry on bags for further
inspection while passing through the security checkpoint. Please check

Wi-Fi Internet Access is available in all public areas at
Green Airport. Travelers with Wi-Fi enabled equipment may utilize

What are the best ways to travel to and from TF Green Airport and Boston?
You can take one of twenty daily (weekday) MBTA commuter rail trains
from the airport to Boston with stops in Providence and other points
along the way. Peter Pan Bus Lines runs scheduled bus service 7 days a
week between Green Airport and Boston and the MBTA runs commuter
rail service from our InterLink Facility on weekdays only.
How can I apply for a job at the airport?
Each company (airlines, rental car companies, restaurants,
etc.) is a separate entity. You may contact the individual company to
apply in person or online. If you are interested in a job through TSA
you may apply online at www.tsa.gov.
What about pets?
Other than service dogs, animals that are traveling with
passengers must be in crates. No other animals are allowed within the
airport building. There is an animal relief area directly outside the
front doors of the airport. Waste disposal bags and a grassy area are
clearly marked for use.
Is there a Cell Phone Waiting Lot?
Located at 2282 Post Road, Warwick, just a short 2-3 minute drive to the
arrivals’ curb. The lot, which has 50 parking spaces, is well lit and
maintained by both LAZ, and the Rhode Island Airport
Corporation (RIAC). RIAC police will be monitoring the lot on regular
patrols, and any unattended vehicles will be subject to fines or
towing.
