The SIDA identification badge process consists of several steps. Please review the section below that identifies with the badge you are applying for (New, Renewal or Visitor). Once your paperwork is submitted, the mandatory security training video will explain the program and your responsibilities as a badge holder. Please review our badging fees and refund policy.
Complete the T.F Green Security Badge Application and Fingerprint Application. Please refer to the Security Badge Applications Instructions. Submit the original signed forms to the badging office at least two days prior to your appointment.
Schedule a Fingerprint appointment with the Airport Badging office. Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday at 9:00AM, 10:00AM, 11:00AM, 2:00PM, 3:00PM,4:00PM and 5:00PM. Appointments are not available between 12:00PM and 2:00PM. When coming in for your appointment, please bring with you two forms of identification (see list of acceptable documents). Your employer will be notified when your fingerprints have cleared. You may then call the Airport Badging office at 401-691-2000 to schedule your SIDA training.
Schedule your Security Identification Display Area Training (SIDA) or Sterile Access Training. Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday throughout the day. Appointments are not available between 12:00PM and 2:00PM. SIDA is only given after all security checks are received and cleared. SIDA is mandatory for all access badges.
If required, schedule Driver Training. If driver training is not required, you will receive your badge when you complete you SIDA and/or Sterile training.
Schedule your Driver Training Appointment – If required, your employer will advise you if you need driver training. Driver training is conducted by Airport Operations and scheduled through the badging office. Classes are held each Tuesday and Thursday at10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Driver training is
held in the in the Training Center located across from Badging Office. You will receive your badge after completing driver training.
Bring the completed Badge Renewal form to the badge office within two weeks of the expiration date on your badge. If you need to change the information related to your badge, please complete and return the Change of Information form.
Visitors must fill out the yellow portion of the Visitor Badge Application and send it to the Tenant who will be requesting the badge on your behalf. The tenant will be notified once the badge is available.
